they're called get people.
lovely!

here's their myspace page:

don't forget NYLON is giving away 20 free songs
and get people have also given away one of their songs.
it's called colour and it's magnificent!
i really love how airy, energetic and layered their songs are.

Vampire Weekend Cape Cod Kwassa Kwassa

thanks to pandora,
(and hearing from other little birds)
i've fallen in love with
Vampire Weekend

this is one of many songs i love by them.
tell me if you dig it, too.

Testing: Music Communication

i'd love to share music i find, too.
but how?
w/o getting annoying with tools such as
automatic play
and such?

and i think i'll just post about a song,
and find a non-distracting video of it.
then post it like that?
so you can listen/view
if you please,
mmkay?
mmkay.

Sorry Amy Winehouse, Adele Seems More Promising

i love sultry jazz voices like adele's
and amy winehouse's.

i'll have to look up more about her lifestyle,
but i'm quite sure she's not acting up like amy,
so that's a plus in my book.

this music video for adele's "Rolling in the Deep"
is beautiful and definitely a mind-jogger
for cinematographers
and even the common-folk.
it's beautiful.

Blue Man Group

went and saw Blue Man Group about a week back
it was AH. MAZE. ZING.

i stalked them and found out when the next time they were coming to my state would be.
yes, i did.

it was asthetically pleasing, musical, comedic, artful, abstract, beautiful..

it left me feeling numb in the best way possible
the aura resonated from my bones it was so euphoric!

he talked! caught me off guard- i had SO many questions!

he kissed my booklet!

such talent....he's black!

asked them to hook me up with some paint

the finale, un-be-fucking-lievable...

they had a good five minute list of words for the word, "butt"

knowing that their hands were on my back
those hands,
such hands
that created such a masterpiece
that have so much talent,
blows me away.

Vampire Weekend

i have vampire weekend playing on my pandora,
because NYLON magazine told me so.
thanks to that magazine,
i've found so many new artist to listen to.
so, you could say i'm on a music adventure.
i do have a little over $9
burning a hole in my virtual itunes pocket.

now playing: vampire weekend- horchata

(it sounded tribal and had an excited beat,
i can always dig that)
