Just an Update

the bantu knots while they're down!

so far, they're looking nice:

day 3 and no problems,

just need more scarves to cover up the back,

when it gets messy.

since my hair is curlier back there.

the other photo is what i shall replace in the (now) 14G

right lobe.

since the random pink tongue ring seems to scream:

Despite the Headache, I Feel Free

i finally was allowed to wash my own hair!

(and the crowd goes wild!)

it was a learning experience,

but i honestly don't mind doing it.

since it hadn't been washed in so long,

there was hair EVERYWHERE!

i think i did the bantu knots...decently

for a first-timer

not good enough to go out publicly in, though!

haha!

so i'm looking up styles for it

as well as natural conditioners.

i learned what "co-washing" means

and i'm excited to see where this process goes.

wish me luck!

i'm jus ready to brew some iced tea

and take some vitamins.

Bantu Knots

that hairstyle Jada Pickett sported during

a matrix movie

is actually easier to get than i would've thought!

they're called bantu knots.

if you click here,there's step by step on how to do it.

and literally, it's easy.

you just part your hair

and twirl it into a rope

and it'll coil onto itself

into those spirals

and voila!

you can wear it up like that, or unravel once dry

for some nice curls.

what i plan to do to my hair once i wash it.

just wanted to share, as usual!

here's the twist i was talking about.

there's also one where instead of rolling the hair,

you can braid it, or two-strand twist it before making the

coils around your head.

just whatever works best and fastest for you!

i'm excited- wish me luck for when i do it!

well, i just realized i've exceeded 100 posts

haha, and now it's christmas, too.

i'd to say Happy Birthday to Jesus, mainly.

i remember i'd say that AS SOON AS i woke up

and soon after presents go down over here,

so i'm gonna draw a chocolate sister

with an animated and HUGE afro

and red lips.

or maybe some other psychedelic color?

who knows?

i'm feeling an inner soul child arise.

because every photo with a curl

or bright pattern

turns me on.

i will HOPEFULLY try to wash my hair
