Can't Live Without Art

i need to have art in my life.

i'm SERIOUSLY thinking about incorporating an art minor

into my university schedule.

i honestly don't think it'll be a waste.

i feel really lost without an art class of some sort

in my life.

i admire photography so much.

i wanna be inspired again.

Itching to Create

i've been so busy with school recently.

so i haven't been able to practice many techniques

with my prismacolor colored pencils.

i realized in a drawing or two,

that i press WAAAY too hard with my prismacolors!

i need new paper, new techniques!

and i'm getting all of my tips and ideas from

with an animated and HUGE afro

and red lips.

i'm feeling an inner soul child arise.

because every photo with a curl

or bright pattern

turns me on.

i will HOPEFULLY try to wash my hair

NYLON + Andy Warhol

while on twitter,

i found out

via NYLON's tweet

that there was a DIY warhol screen test you can do.

it emulates warhol when he did screen tests

and it couldn't be any more simple:

create a video of yourself staring at a camera for 90 seconds

and download it to their group on flickr.

and it'll end up on the site for the museum of modern art!

voila!

it sounds bland and uninteresting,

until you read more about it.
